About Charu Nivedita

He was born near Thiruthuraipoondi in 1953. He became a full-time writer in 2002. His novel Zero Degree was nominated for the Jan Michalski Prize. It was chosen among HarperCollins' fifty important Indian books.

His essays reach a global audience. He writes a column for London's ArtReview Asia. Critics compare him to Nabokov, Burroughs and Kathy Acker. He lives in Chennai.
